Balinese Massage

Flowing oil strokes, kneading and palm pressure make up this massage. The movements change throughout the session, giving you a mix of broad strokes and more focused work.
30 / 60 / 90 / 120 minutesA mix of movements
Longer strokes move across an area, while kneading and palm pressure spend more time in one place. Balinese Massage brings these movements together rather than keeping the same rhythm from beginning to end.
It is a useful choice if you enjoy an oil massage with some variety. You can still explain which areas you want included and how firm you would like the pressure.
Choose time for the areas you want covered
A 30-minute booking gives you a shorter session to organise around your priorities. With 60, 90 or 120 minutes, there is more time to include several areas and spend longer on the movements you enjoy.
Tell us your preferred duration when booking. You do not have to choose the strongest pressure to make a longer massage worthwhile.

Your questions
Before you book.
Is Balinese Massage an oil massage?
Yes. Oil is used for the flowing strokes, alongside kneading and palm pressure.
Does the pressure stay the same?
It can change with the movement and the area being worked on. Tell the therapist if you would like a lighter or firmer feel.
Do I need to choose which movements are used?
No. You can book Balinese Massage without knowing the names of the techniques. Explain your preferences in ordinary words, such as “more flowing strokes” or “gentler on my legs”.
